  • Spring Plant Sale: kicking off the spring season with more than 85,000 plants for sale.
  • Mother's Day at Denver Botanic Gardens: Spoil mom with a picnic and live entertainment.
  • Celebrating Wildflowers: Learn more about our free wildflower hikes this May.
  • Summer Concert Series: Our guaranteed-to-sell-out music series in the amphitheater is among the most popular music events in Colorado. Enjoy crystal clear music from some of the world's most sought after artists in the company of thousands of blooming plants.
  • Fitness Walks and T'ai Chi: Connect with your inner self and get some exercise in spectacular surroundings.
  • Birdhaus Bash: Birdhouses decorated by local artists and celebrities are auctioned off to support youth education and adult tour guide programs at the Gardens.
  • Fête des Fleurs: An elegant, black tie dinner-dance and auction for members.
  • Corn Maze: Get lost in our gigantic 8.5-acre Corn Maze at Chatfield--one of the most popular mazes in the country!
  • Fall Bulb & Plant Sale: Our hugely popular sale offers an incredible selection of bulbs and winter gardening items. Our experts will be on hand to offer advice.
  • Pumpkin Fest: Thousands of pumpkins will be ripe for the picking just in time for Halloween at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.
  • Holiday Sale will start this year’s holiday season with a wide variety of handcrafted gifts you won’t find at the mall. 
  • Trail of Lights: With the Colorado foothills as a backdrop, more than one million twinkling lights will illuminate the beauty of a charming forest path at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.  

Educational, food and craft vendors—participate in our two-day Pumpkin Fest in October and connect with up to 25,000 people.

It's a fact: The alligator drum and giant amadinda are musical instruments made from plants.

Botanical interest: Children are encouraged to interact with plants, including smelling fragrant chives (Allium schoenoprasum), touching lamb’s ear (Stachys byzantina) and soft artemisia (Artemisia schmidtiana ‘Silver Mound’).
