CELL PHONE TOURS
Turn on your cell phones!

Denver Botanic Gardens is pioneering a new concept in audio tours: the cell phone audio tour. This innovative technology, provided by Guide by Cell, allows visitors to access recordings by Gardens staff via their own cell phones. The call is free, costing only your airtime. Visitors can listen to recordings in any order or frequency.

New this spring, we now offer the “Garden Clips” audio guide, found throughout the Gardens. Featuring members of our Horticulture and Research staff, the stops give a look behind the scenes of all of our beautiful gardens. Try it out! Dial 720-548-3474 on your phone and enter 76 followed by the # sign to hear about the secrets of the Birds and Bees Walk.

This program is generously supported by the Sprint Foundation

PLANT FINDER KIOSK TOUCH SCREEN TOURS

Spice up your next visit by starting at the Plant Finder Kiosk. This touch screen computer will let you see what’s blooming now at the touch of a button or allow you to look up a particular species you’ve been thinking about planting in your own garden. You can even look for a plant by special characteristics, such as bloom color or plant type.

Special tours have been created for current plants in bloom, the champion trees, Plant Select plants and more. You can view images, cultural requirements, descriptions and print maps to help navigate your way to the chosen plants. The kiosk is updated weekly and contains location and plant information for over 17,000 plants.

Look for this kiosk by our Information Desk in the Education Building.
