Class Art Supplies

SBAI has collaborated with Denver-based Meininger Art Material to offer art supply kits for our beginning-level core classes. In business since 1881, Meininger is the oldest continuously family-owned art supply store in the United States. 

About the Art Kits:  

We offer four kits for beginning-level classes for students enrolled in these classes:

• Pencil 1 uses the Graphite Drawing Kit.
• Color Mixing in Watercolor uses the Watercolor Kit.
• Color Layering in Colored Pencil uses the Colored Pencil Drawing Kit.
• Pen and Ink 1 uses the Pen & Ink Drawing Kit.

The four art kits are available for purchase here. Kits may be picked up at either the Denver or Colorado Springs locations or shipped directly to you.

Meininger has generously matched pricing with other art materials suppliers and these kits were created to be a convenient way to shop for art materials. We encourage you to support this longtime Colorado business.

In addition to these kits, your instructor may include a list of optional or supplemental materials on your individual class Padlet pages.
