Botanical Embroidery

In this one‑day embroidery workshop, take inspiration from the historical “Codex de la Cruz Badiano,” a 16th‑century manuscript depicting medicinal plants of Mexico—many of which also grow in Colorado. Learn how to transfer an illustration onto cotton fabric and embellish it using three foundational embroidery stitches. Leave with a hand‑stitched contemporary botanical textile of your own creation.
