Your botanical illustration journey begins here. This class is a window into the methods and materials used in botanical illustration. Receive a brief overview of the history and techniques used to create precise renderings with scientific value. Dissect a flower and look closely to learn multi-sensory, basic botany from a primary source. Simple drawing exercises use graphite and other materials. Some materials supplied. No art experience required.
