Homeschool Science Supplement at Plains Conservation Center: Biomes
Earth is home to many different environments, each with its own climate, plants, and animals. In this class, students explore major world biomes and learn how living things adapt to survive in these unique ecosystems. Using their creativity and scientific knowledge, students design and build their own biome dioramas that represent the plants, animals, and conditions found in these habitats.
Homeschool science supplement classes are designed for 4th-9th graders to expand on their scientific knowledge and skills.
Audience: Homeschool families with children in grades 4-9.
Program Fee: $18 non member child; $16 member child; One adult per child is free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings ages 3 and up are $7 each. Non-participating siblings do not participate in take home activities.
