Denver Botanic Gardens proudly partners with a wide variety of corporate and community groups to support special events and volunteer projects each year.

Is your staff looking for a team-building activity during the typical workday (Monday – Friday)? Does your National Honor Society want to complete service hours together? Are you a member of a group that provides support to nonprofits in your community?

See information below on what is offered each year at Denver Botanic Gardens (Denver) and Chatfield Farms (Littleton) locations. Our biggest need for volunteer groups is supporting our special events.

Chatfield Farms

We have a variety of specialized projects and special event support opportunities for groups at Chatfield Farms during the spring, summer and fall seasons.

Farm Maintenance Projects

We need groups to volunteer throughout the spring, summer and early fall to support our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program, solar garden, research and horticulture at Chatfield Farms with general maintenance projects, which may involve weeding, planting, harvesting and other farm-related tasks at Chatfield Farms with general maintenance projects, which may involve weeding, planting, harvesting, mulching and other farm or horticulture-related tasks.

If you are interested in volunteering supporting a maintenance project at Chatfield Farms, please complete the Corporate/Community Group Application.

Below are some things to note before you join us:

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Groups must have a minimum of 10 volunteers, maximum 30.
Each volunteer must fill out a virtual waiver (link will be emailed before project date).

Special Events

There are currently no group volunteer opportunities at Chatfield Farms for Special Events. Please check back in the spring.

Our Volunteer Services team will be in touch with the most up-to-date information as it becomes available. We will do our best to coordinate with each group for special event volunteering, however we may not have the ability to approve all group requests.
