Drawing Butterflies and Moths

Learn to incorporate Lepidotera (butterflies and moths) into your botanical illustrations with greater accuracy and confidence. Observe insects from the Gardens’ entomology collection, create anatomical sketches and incorporate textures and layering. Work towards creating a final illustration of an insect in the medium of your choice.

Prerequisites: Some drawing experience recommended

Fee: $125 member, $145 non-member
