Indoor Sensory Gardens for Wellness
As we put our outdoor gardens to rest and the winter weather sets in it can be hard to stay connected to nature. In this make-and-take workshop, design and build a mini sensory garden to engage the senses and support calm, mindful moments during the colder months. Explore the importance of staying connected to nature, learn mindful indoor gardening practices and share techniques on how to care for your new sensory garden. All materials are provided, including plants that will thrive in a variety of growing conditions. This experience of creating and tending to your garden will serve as a lasting reminder to slow down, connect with your senses and nurture yourself throughout the winter season.
