Song Kang

During her residency, Song Kang will explore biodiversity and the sprouting stages of various plant species growing at the Gardens. Interested in depicting overlooked plants to elevate the mundane to the fantastical, Kang will create large-scale pen and ink drawings that highlight the textures and details of the Gardens’ smallest wonders.
