Medical & Dental Insurance
Denver Botanic Gardens subsidizes a significant portion of the premium for your medical and dental coverage, for you and your eligible family members. You’ll have a choice of plan designs to best meet your family’s needs, and you’ll also have access to a health savings account (HSA) with employer contributions if you choose the high-deductible health plan.
Paid Time Away from Work
Denver Botanic Gardens offers vacation and sick time to all eligible employees, and you’ll begin accruing time off right after you start. We also observe eight (8) holidays each year, and you’ll have up to four (4) floating holidays to use, too! Last but definitely not least, we also offer up to twelve (12) weeks of paid parental leave to enable eligible employees to care for and bond with the newest members of their family.
Retirement Savings Plan
Saving for your future is something we encourage, and eligible employees are automatically enrolled in Denver Botanic Gardens’ 403(b) plan. We also offer a Roth 403(b) option, and once you’ve been with us for a year, we’ll accelerate your savings by contributing 6% of your salary to the plan.
Educational Assistance
We love supporting employees in growing their careers, and once you’ve been with Denver Botanic Gardens for six (6) months, we’ll reimburse 90% of your qualified educational expenses, up to $5,250 each year. We also have a scholarship program for creative professional experiences that foster professional development and personal learning opportunities.
RTD EcoPass
You’ll have a free EcoPass for unlimited rides on buses and trains, great for getting you to work or wherever life takes you.
Membership and Discounts
As an employee of Denver Botanic Gardens, you’ll receive a free Friends & Family membership, as well as free admission to events such as Blossoms of Light® and limited tickets to the Summer Concert Series.
