Homeschool Days offer families the opportunity to explore plant-based themes through a variety of hands-on explorations and take-home projects that children and their grownups complete together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are set up with several activity stations throughout the Gardens for families to explore the day's topic. Best for families with children ages 6-10 years.

Homeschool Make and Take programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with the natural world and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies. You and your family provide the ideas and creativity! Each Make and Take Program includes a self-guided exploration guide and the space and supplies to complete a project to take home. Best for families with children ages 6 and up.

Science Studio offers families a guided classroom experience to investigate the connections between scientific concepts, the arts and the natural world. Each studio session utilizes a variety of natural materials and art mediums to explore scientific concepts related to the natural world. After exploring the session's scientific content, students will have the opportunity to get creative with the art materials provided. Best for families with children ages 7 -12.

Taking notes, collecting measurements and making illustrations are all components of a robust nature journal. The Nature Journaling for Homeschoolers program offers homeschoolers and their grownups the opportunity to work side by side to examine the environment from a fresh perspective. Best for families with children ages 8-12.
