Radiant Season: Paintings by Kevin Sloan
York Street Location
Freyer – Newman Center
Sloan’s paintings elevate the often-overlooked plants, animals and discarded objects inhabiting the edges of the urban landscape—thistles, traffic cones, sparrows and the like. These works transform the quiet denizens of the natural (and unnatural) world into mysterious icons—radiant and quietly powerful.
