Evening Yoga

A gentle class combining principles of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. Students focus on flowing from pose to pose and linking the movement with the breath. The instructor offers a variety of modifications to encourage participation of everyone. Sequences include sitting, standing, and inverted postures, and suggest challenging variations for more advanced students, yet fun and non-intimidating options for newer students.

 

Skill level: All levels welcome

Special Instructions: Advanced registration is required. Please bring a mat, a towel and water.

 

These sessions will take place in the Morrison Discovery Classroom located at the bottom of the Mordecai Children's Garden on the east side of York St.

Instructor: Blake Burger

 

Blake is a certified yoga instructor and horticulturist at the Gardens. Blake has led more than 1,000 yoga classes over six years and has created a series of popular yoga classes at the Gardens.
