Children and Family Make and Take: Winter Wreaths

Create a seasonal wreath using wintry colors, pinecones, evergreen boughs and more! After you complete your wreath, bundle up and stroll around the Gardens with a scavenger hunt that explores the common varieties of evergreens onsite.

Family Make and Take programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with natural materials and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies. You and your family provide the ideas and creativity!

Program Location: This program takes place indoors. Most groups spend between 30 minutes to an hour creating their projects.

Audience: Materials provided are appropriate for families with children ages 5 and up.

Program Fee: Price: $17 per project fee non-members; $14 per project fee members. Each project fee includes one undecorated wreath form and access to a variety of natural and manmade materials to use for decoration. The number of project fees should equal to the number of wreaths your group will make. Wreaths are approximately 8-12 inches.

Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
