Jennifer, now in her tenth year at Denver Botanic Gardens, specializes in dahlia culture at the Gardens and is a member of the Colorado Dahlia Society and The American Dahlia Society. Each year she selects the most striking and unusual varieties to showcase in annual displays, the largest of which is located in the Fountain Beds. In 2022, she conducted a dahlia breeding study and displayed nearly 100 never-before-seen seedlings. Jennifer is also responsible for many of the outdoor dried flower displays at the Gardens, which often feature dried dahlias, as well as the woven willow work you see in the Secret Garden, which was designed and installed by her, and at the entrance to the Visitor Center. In 2021, Jennifer embarked on a five-year plan to renovate the Ornamental Grass Garden, which she also manages.
