Rags to Rugs at Plains Conservation Center
Braided rag rugs are a traditional American way to use fabric scraps to make something useful. Come learn this historic method of up-cycling that still can be used today. Exercise your creativity to make your own braided mug rug to take home at the end of the workshop. Basic familiarity with sewing and braiding is helpful, but not required. All supplies and materials provided, but you are welcome to bring your own fabric scraps.
