Flower Happy Hour

Join Lisa Weddel, co-owner of DIY Designs Inspired by You, for a new kind of monthly happy hour! Each session features a different design style and technique, and each participant takes home an impressive, one-of-a-kind arrangement. Grab your friends, grab a beverage, and learn how to design a stunning floral arrangement built around seasonal blooms! All floral supplies are provided and bloom selection changes seasonally. BYOB wine and beer are permitted. Please be sure to bring valid ID if consuming alcohol.

Floristry has long been known as the business of emotions – and in 2026, Flower Happy Hour is embracing that wholeheartedly. Each month, our floral arrangements will be thoughtfully designed around a different emotion, capturing its essence through color, texture or form. One month might be all about joy with bright, happy hues; the next could lean into calm with soft tones and delicate textures. It’s more than just flowers – it’s an emotional experience – beautifully arranged. The monthly schedule with featured emotions is listed below:

January - Calmness

February - Love

March - Envy

April - Surprise

May - Compassion

June - Pride

July - Grouchiness

August - Jealousy

September - Awe

October - Horror

November - Gratitude
