Children and Family Make and Take: Pollination Stations

What's the buzz around the Gardens? Pollinators! Join us to discover how plants communicate with pollinators at the Gardens. "Bee" inspired to create a pollinator friendly feeder to take home with you.

Family Make and Take programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with natural materials and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies. You and your family provide the ideas and creativity!

Dates and Times: June 21, June 22, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Most groups spend between 30 and 90 minutes creating their projects and exploring the Gardens.

Program Fee: Price: $16 per project; $14 per project member.

Registration Instructions: Each project fee includes the materials to make and decorate one pollinator friendly feeder. The number of project fees should equal the number of pollination stations your group will create. You will be asked to indicate the number of adults and children who will be participating in the program during checkout.

Location: York Street

Audience: Materials provided are appropriate for families with children ages 5 and up.

Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
