The Helen Fowler Library is a destination for exploration and learning. Programs are focused on the book as a resource, a tool, or object of literacy and learning.

Free admission to the library for members and the general public, no reservation required. Admission to the Gardens is separate. Program fees may apply to library programs.

SPARK!

Sensory Processing and Autism Resource Kits (SPARK) are available in the library to check out for free. The kits are appropriate for people of all ages with autism or sensory needs to help them feel safe and supported while exploring the York Street gardens.

Nature Tales Family Story Time

Nature Tales Family Story Time

Bring your budding naturalists to Nature Tales Family Story Time in the library and discover the wonders of nature with your child. Together, we will explore books that tell the stories of the natural world, of the garden and of our own backyard.

Storytime will resume in January 2025.

A book club series hosted by and at the Helen Fowler Library. We read three books over three months focusing on a specific topic of interest. This fall, our selected books are about food.
