Orchid Showcase Hours

Friday, Jan. 10 – Sunday, Jan. 12, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Monday, Jan. 13 – Monday, Feb. 17, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
 

Orchid Sales

Colorado orchid grower Fantasy Orchids will be in the Orangery on the dates below selling orchids, while supplies last. Members receive a 10 percent discount on orchid purchases by presenting a valid digital membership card or member admission ticket. General admission is required for access to the sale. 

• Saturdays: Jan. 11 & 25, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Saturdays: Feb. 1, 8 & 15, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Orchid Showcase Photo Contest

Visitors can enter photos taken at the Gardens’ 2025 Orchid Showcase. Three winners will receive an orchid from the display and a gift card from the contest sponsor, Mike’s Camera.

Rules: 

• Submit photo entries via this online form.
• Submissions are no longer accepted via social media.
• Entries accepted Jan. 10 – Feb. 17, 2025.
• Only three (3) photos per entry. 
• All photos must be taken at the 2025 Orchid Showcase.
• Contestants who submit more than three photos or after Feb. 17 will be eliminated from the contest.

General Information:

• Three winners, selected by Mike’s Camera staff, will be announced on Feb. 21 on Instagram and Facebook, and notified by email.
• General admission is required to view the Orchid Showcase.
• Feb. 13 is a SCFD Free Day
  • Advanced online registration is required
  • Tickets will be available three months at a time (on a rolling basis) and the tickets will be released on the 1st of the month.

Prizes:

• 1st: $100 Mike’s Camera gift card, orchid plant
• 2nd: $50 Mike’s Camera gift card, orchid plant
• 3rd: $25 Mike’s Camera gift card, orchid plant
