Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is a 700-acre nature preserve, historical homestead and working farm located along the banks of Deer Creek in southern Jefferson County.
Our institutional mission of connecting people with plants is continued by fostering a resilient farm ecosystem by building soil health, restoring Deer Creek and the native grasslands, and by creating a community centered around food and nature.
The Community Supported Agriculture program (CSA) at Chatfield Farms is the cornerstone of the Gardens' Urban Food Initiatives, growing seven acres of vegetables, flowers and fruit for subscribers (shareholders) and community donations.
2025 CSA Shares will go on sale to returning shareholders in mid-January 2025. All remaining shares will be released to our waitlist in February 2025. Sign up to join our waitlist.

As the effects of climate change continue to cause damage to the environment and to vulnerable populations, it is more important than ever to be mindful of our farming practices. Chatfield Farms is implementing regenerative farming practices that focus on healthy ecosystems all the way from the soil, beneficial insects, animals, water conservation, tiling and more.
