Beyond Basic Knitting at Plains Conservation Center

This class is designed for beginning knitters who want to do a bit more than the absolute basics. If you have an understanding of casting on, knitting, purling and binding off, but want to learn more, this class is for you! Students will learn alternative ways to cast on, basic increases and decreases, how to use knit and purl stitches to create patterns such as ribbing and basketweave and an introduction to reading knitting patterns. If you are ready to take the next step in your knitting journey, join us for an afternoon of fun.

All materials are provided, but if you have your own knitting needles or other equipment you wish to use, please bring them.
