Botanical Illustration for Beginners

This class is a window into the methods and materials used in botanical illustration. Students receive a brief overview of the history and techniques used to create precise renderings with scientific value. Take a flower apart and look under the microscope to learn multi-sensory basic botany. Use graphite, colored pencil, watercolor and micron pens for simple drawing exercises. No art experience required and all materials supplied.
