Cub Scout Make and Take: Tabletop Greenhouse Gardens
All levels of Cub Scouts are invited to join us at the Gardens for a spring seed planting project. Each Cub Scout will plant seeds in eco-friendly recycled seed starting pots and then build a miniature tabletop greenhouse to take home. After completing the planting activity enjoy the Gardens with a scavenger hunt that explores plants as they prepare for the changing seasons.
Program Format: Make and Take Programs are self-guided and self-paced and provide a creative environment for adults and children to connect with natural materials and create together.
Program Location: Your group should be prepared to spend time both indoors and outdoors. Most groups spend between 30 minutes and an hour creating their projects. Program registration includes admission the Gardens, your group is welcome to stay and explore the Gardens on your own after the program.
Audience: All Levels of Cub Scouts
Program Fee: $12 per project
Registration Instructions: The number of project fees should equal to the number of children planting and making a tabletop greenhouse. You will provide the number of adults and children attending the program during the check out process.
Cancellations: Cancellations can be made for any reason up to one week before the program. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable, except for illness-related cancellations.
