Family Workshop at Plains Conservation Center: Prairie Dogs
Come explore the keystone species of the shortgrass prairie and learn what makes prairie dogs so special to their ecosystem. Play games, make a food web and venture out on the safari truck to explore a real prairie dog colony.
Family Workshops at Plains Conservation Center offer families a fun, hands-on guided opportunity to learn about the prairie and the people, plants and animals that live or have lived there. Workshops include a guided exploration of the topic and a project for adults and children to create together. This workshop is designed for families with children ages 5-10.
Price: $12 per child. 1 adult free with each child and additional adults are $12 each.
