Native Plant Gardening Through the Seasons

For year-round beauty, water conservation, low maintenance and providing food and habitat for local wildlife and pollinators, you can't beat a native plant garden! However, getting a native plant garden started is a little trickier than making a trip to your nearest garden center. If you're interested in native plant gardening but don't know where to start, this seasonal series of classes will provide tips, tricks and resources so you can get gardening with these resilient and fascinating plants.

Spring Session: Prep

This spring session will help you prepare and design your garden space, discuss watering and site needs, understand the benefits of wildlife and learn where to ethically source native plants.

Summer Session: Plant

This summer session will provide you with tips on planting, help you understand plant succession and teach you about your plants and the pollinators they support.

Audience: Ages 10 & older

Price: $5 per person
