Robert Macfarlane: In Conversation with author Ben Goldfarb

Join us for a special evening as the Habitat Library partners with Denver Botanic Gardens and the One World One Water Center for the Colorado launch of Robert Macfarlane's latest book, "Is a River Alive?", a revelatory book that transforms how we imagine rivers—and life itself. Macfarlane brings his glittering style to a profound work of travel writing, reportage and natural history. “Is a River Alive?” is a joyful, mind-expanding exploration of an ancient, urgent idea: that rivers are living beings who should be recognized as such in imagination and law.
Ben Goldfarb leads the on-stage conversation with Macfarlane in Denver Botanic Gardens’ Sturm Family Auditorium.
