David is an avid gardener, has participated in Plant Select®, attended Master Gardener classes twice, spent a lot of time identifying Great Basin plants in his pursuit of a forestry and range management degree, co-authored two books about xeriscaping. He has dedicated the past 16 years to promoting the concept of xeriscape for Denver Water. He is obsessed with photographing plants because it is the only way to appreciate a plant’s beauty for longer than its short bloom time. His photographs have been published all over the world.
